Running Helpy on AWS

It is trivial to deploy a Helpy Instance on AWS with the Helpy Community Edition or Helpy Pro Edition AMI.  This guide assumes you already have a working AWS account.  From here, access the AWS marketplace, and select the Helpy installation you wish to deploy.  To deploy, click on "Launch on Compute Engine".

Deploying on AWS:

1. Choose a name for your Helpy Instance, machine type, disk size, and other parameters.  When you are happy with the settings, click "Deploy" to deploy to a new EC2 instance.

2. Once the instance is ready, you will be able to browse to the IP address URL.  An administrator login has already been created for you using the instance ID of the EC2 instance you just created:

Login with:

User: admin@test.com
PW: your-instance-id

3. Upon logging in, you will go through a brief on boarding flow where you will be prompted to reset your password and update your email address and name.  There will also be a selection of tickets in your account describing next steps for your implementation.

4. Congratulations!  In 3 easy steps, you have launched a private instance of Helpy running on AWS!  To learn more about how to administer your new instance, make sure you check out:
