Changing the privacy of a discussion thread or ticket

Occasionally a customer will accidentally post sensitive information into the public community.  If this happens, you can easily convert a public topic into a private ticket.  To do so, locate the discussion in the admin panel, and use the dropdown labelled “public” to mark the ticket as “private”.
Similarly, you will encounter times when a user has sent you a private ticket, which would be beneficial to other users if it were publically available.  You can convert a private ticket to public in exactly the same way, by using the corresponding dropdown on the discussion view to move the message into one of your public community forums.
